SANGKAAN FESTIVAL: A DIVERSE CELEBRATION IN TANDAG CITY  Introduction One of the festivals that is being celebrated in Tandag City, Surigao del Sur, held every September 9 is the Sangkaan Festival. City government of Tandag, brings a vibrant and diverse array of activities that truly reflect the heart and soul of this remarkable city. Organized by the city government, this festival is a testament to Tandag’s commitment to its people and their well-being. Each year, the festival boasts a fresh lineup of activities to ensure that every return visit is as exciting as the first. One part of the festival is the street dancing competition, which highlights a 3-minute dance routine conceptualizing the story of the triumph of the good and righteous over evil.
